No preview on Google for flash sites
Another reason why having a flash site may not be the best for your product .. Google’s new hover-for-web-preview will not be scanning flash websites for their new image preview.

There are many new features in Joomla 1.6 that make it a really nice option for a content management system. Here’s our quick review of a few things I noticed while testing that will definitely be useful.
1. Access Control. This is the big one, of course. In this new release, you can fine tune what your viewers see, what your administrators can see/edit, etc. There are user groups that can be created, and then each menu item, category, article, etc can be set to be viewed by one of these user groups. You can assign users to multiple user groups in the event they need to have access to several different areas.

Today we’re unrolling out new administration templates for our Joomla site users – you won’t have any trouble finding the things you’re used to finding in the same places. It’s a cleaned up and brightened look and feel with a little bit of CSS3 styling thrown in here and there. Let us know what you think of it! By tomorrow we should have everyone upgraded and you’ll be able to log into your site backend and take it for a test.
The newest release of Joomla 1.6 has just come out with some really cool new features built in. We’ll be reviewing it shortly and posting our thoughts here on the blog!
