About the Design

Yes, we have the technology to create cutting edge websites that look like the hood of a shiny new Ferrari, with a fresh wax job.

But we’d rather not make your head spin with all the geek talk of how we get to that point. We figure, if you like what you see here in our portfolio – you’ll probably want us to make something similar for you.

To us, the most important thing is that you like the way the end product looks, people can find your site easily, and that it functions to do exactly what you want it to do as well as being extremely visible on the web. Let us take care of the cascading style sheets and asynchronous javascript and XML (ok, that’s enough of that!)

Visibility

You want people to be able to find your site on the internet, so we use a set of techniques that outfit your site for SEO (Search Engine Optimization). There are companies that charge thousands of dollars extra for this service, but we think good website design should include SEO right in with the build. Why pay more?

Usability

Not everyone uses the same computer or browser, so we make sure to check websites as we’re building them in all of the major modern browsers, to be sure that the design is consistent.

Having said that, we strongly encourage all of our clients to use the most current version of whichever browser you choose, since the newer ones read the code of modern websites much better than the older ones do. We have more to say about browsers and our preferences in them here.

Beauty in Design

This is one of the most visible things – you want your site to look good, right? If the end result isn’t what you wanted, then all the technology behind it really doesn’t matter. We have a distinct style to our work that is clean, streamlined, and free from clutter. We work with our clients to help them get the most modern look for their site.
